Australian-wide network of game-changing hydrogen technology clusters unveiled

– $1.85m to be invested in 13 clusters across all states & territories

– Clusters will foster a multi-billion dollar, globally competitive hydrogen industry

PERTH, WA, AUSTRALIA, January 31, 2021 /EINPresswire.com/ — A network of regional hydrogen technology clusters has today been unveiled across Australia, as part of a drive to establish a nationwide hydrogen cluster.

Spearheaded by National Energy Resources Australia (NERA), the national cluster (which would operate as a virtual network) will establish a global identity and a recognised brand for Australian hydrogen technology and expertise. It will also aid the development of the hydrogen supply chain, reduce overlaps and identify gaps in the development, deployment, and commercialisation of new hydrogen focused technologies.

The establishment of the regional hydrogen technology clusters announced today – which cover all of Australia’s states and territories – follows the conclusion of a seed funding selection program started by NERA in September. NERA has also been able to leverage a range of funding commitments from state and territory governments around the country, as well as industry financial support.

NERA CEO Miranda Taylor said today’s announcement was a crucial step in building the skills, capacities and commercialisation opportunities necessary to unlock Australia’s enormous potential to create a globally competitive hydrogen industry that, according to a 2019 Deloitte report, could increase Australia’s GDP up to $26 billion.

“Today marks a great step forward in Australia’s capability in developing hydrogen technologies. These regional clusters, all of which have the support of their state and territory governments, have been established around key, existing hydrogen projects and technology supply chains in strategic locations that have a demonstrated capacity to support them.

“This will ensure long-term local cohesion and sustainable capability across the emerging hydrogen value chain.”
The development of a national hydrogen cluster was identified by the 2019 National Hydrogen Strategy as an important component to scale up Australia’s domestic industry to become a global hydrogen competitor.

Today’s announcement continues NERA’s active role in coordinating collaborative opportunities to realise Australia’s hydrogen potential across the hydrogen value chain and ensure that Australian companies are well placed to supply new technology, products and services to domestic and international markets.

Petraco Oil Company Cautiously Optimistic – Demand Recovery Hinges on Vaccines

Petraco Oil Company cautiously optimistic – Demand recovery hinges on vaccines

Global and International Oil companies cautious with 2021 outlook

Oil companies cautious with 2021 outlook

Petraco is one of the oldest independent trading companies in the World, priding itself on great expertise and strong connection with its customers. It

LUGANO, TESSIN, SWITZERLAND, January 29, 2021 /EINPresswire.com/ — Petraco Oil Company cautiously optimistic while demand recovery hinges on vaccines: – With lockdowns continuing worldwide, the energy industry has been monitoring the availability of vaccines closely. At the January 2021 Gulf Intelligence Global UAE Energy Forum, several traders offered cautious optimism in terms of upcoming energy demand. Commodity traders like Vitol stated they expected overall oil demand to rise by 6mn b/d this year, only partially reversing a 9mn b/d slump in demand last year. Jet fuel demand has been hit particularly hard by the Covid-19 pandemic, with border closures, travel restrictions and tight lockdown measures. Although the start of mass vaccination programmes across different countries has undoubtedly brought hope to several market players across the aviation industry, the International Air Travel Association (IATA) said in November that it does not expect global air passenger numbers to return to 2019 levels until 2024 at the earliest. IATA expects 2.8bn passengers to travel in 2021, 1bn more than in 2020 but 1.7bn fewer than in 2019.

OPEC+ also took an extremely cautious view to energy demand earlier this month. Saudi Arabia alone announced that it would make a 1mn b/d voluntary crude output cut in February and March. The cut is already on top of Saudi Arabia’s output commitment of 9.119mn b/d under the latest OPEC+ agreement and it will mean it will produce as little as 8.119mn b/d from the start of February. The UAE instead offered slight optimism, expecting global oil demand to return to pre-pandemic levels by the end of the year or early 2022 at the latest, citing OPEC+ efforts as the key determining factor. This was a markedly different assessment than that given by the Nigerian state-owned oil company NNPC, which expressed serious doubts that oil demand would recover to pre-Covid levels before the end of 2022.

Despite this a difference needs to be highlighted between the financial impacts felt by oil producers and those by commodity traders. While some oil-producing nations, heavily dependent on the absolute price of crude, have suffered greatly during the pandemic and have continued a general sentiment of pessimism when forecasting profits for the upcoming year, the scenario is different with that presented by oil traders. Several traders including Vitol, Glencore and the Petraco Group are less exposed to price volatility. The contango structure in futures markets has been beneficial to traders during 2020. When asked about their view on global oil demand, a spokesperson for Petraco Oil Company stated that ‘ultimately it all goes down to how many people become immunised against Covid-19 and by when. Realistically we do not see a significant portion of society being vaccinated before the first half of 2021 and we can therefore only expect some rebound in global oil demand in the latter part of the year’.

Petraco was founded in 1972 in Milan, Italy, by Branko Srenger. It has since grown to gain a significant international presence as well as an excelling reputation in the oil industry. Over the many years of its existence, Petraco has developed a diverse, global customer base and an extensive network with strong long term relationships. By using our in-house market intelligence, we have been able to anticipate market trends as well as maintain a liquid capital structure. We are hence always able to provide competitive solutions. Petraco’s longstanding focus on trading has fostered the development of long term contracts and established relationships with numerous crude oil producing companies around the world. Among others, crude oil and products origins include Russia, Egypt, Iraq, and Italy. We trade in excess of 350,000 barrels per day, and market our crude oil petroleum products, feedstocks blending stocks, and finished products worldwide. Our sourcing is also based on offtake agreements which we have in place with various refiners. In the process, our traders, operators, risk management and finance teams provide creative solutions to overcome the logistical and financial barriers that may stand in the way of such transactions.

California US Navy Veterans Lung Cancer Advocate Urges a Navy Veteran with Lung Cancer in California to Call the Lawyers at Karst von Oiste About Significant Compensation-if He Had Heavy Asbestos Exposure in the Navy

"We want a Navy Veteran with lung cancer-and who had exposure to asbestos in the service to get compensated-but most won't because they do not realize how significant their compensation might be.”

— California US Navy Veterans Lung Cancer Advocate

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA, USA, January 29, 2021 /EINPresswire.com/ — The California US Navy Veterans Lung Cancer Advocate says, "If you are a Navy Veteran with lung cancer anywhere in California and decades ago you had heavy exposure to asbestos in the service please call the lawyers at the law firm of Karst von Oiste at 800-714-0303 to discuss compensation. Financial compensation for a person like this might exceed $100,000. Financial compensation for a Navy Veteran who has lung cancer and who prior to 1982 had heavy exposure to asbestos-depends on how, where, and when he was exposed to asbestos. Typically, a Navy Veteran like this was exposed on a navy ship, submarine or at a navy shipyard.

"We want a Navy Veteran with lung cancer-and who had exposure to asbestos in the service to get compensated-but most won't because they do not realize how significant their compensation might be. The $30 billion dollar-asbestos trust funds were set up for people like this. The typical Navy Veteran we assist is over 65 years old, and his asbestos exposure occurred in the 1950s, 1960s or 1970s. If the person we have described sounds like your husband or family member please call the lawyers at Karst von Oiste anytime at 800-714-0303. This is worth your time." www.karstvonoiste.com/

The California US Navy Veterans Lung Cancer Advocate’s free services are available to people with asbestos exposure lung cancer or mesothelioma in Los Angeles, San Pedro, San Diego, San Jose, San Francisco, Fresno, Irvine, Oakland, Long Beach, Anaheim, Bakersfield, Riverside, Sacramento, Stockton or anywhere in California. https://California.USNavyLungCancer.Com

High-risk work groups for exposure to asbestos in California include US Navy Veterans, workers at one of California’s more than 70 power plants, shipyard workers in San Diego, Long Beach, or San Francisco, oil refinery workers in Long Beach or Martinez, manufacturing workers, public utility workers plumbers, electricians, auto mechanics, machinists, or construction workers. Typically, the exposure to asbestos occurred in the 1950’s, 1960’s, 1970’s, or 1980’s. https://California.USNavyLungCancer.Com

According to the American Cancer Society for nonsmokers who have been exposed to asbestos in their workplace the risk of lung cancer is five times that of unexposed workers. https://www.cdc.gov/cancer/lung/statistics/index.htm.

The US Navy Veterans Lung Cancer Advocate says, “If your husband, dad, coworker or neighbor has just been diagnosed with lung cancer and you know they had significant exposure to asbestos in the navy, at a shipyard or while working at a factory, at power plant, public utility, or as a plumber, electrician welder, mechanic or any kind of skilled trades group in any state please have them call us anytime at 800-714-0303. "As attorney Erik Karst of Karst von Oiste is happy to discuss at 800-714-0303-it takes time to ensure his client recall as much as possible about their asbestos exposure-for better compensation.”

— Missouri Mesothelioma Victims Center

In many instances-financial compensation for a Navy Veteran might exceed a million dollars. As attorney Erik Karst of the law firm of Karst von Oiste is always happy to explain-mesothelioma compensation for a Navy Veteran or person with mesothelioma depends on how, where and when they were exposed to asbestos. The more instances of asbestos exposure in many cases the better the compensation-as Erik Karst of Karst von Oiste is always happy to explain at 800-714-0303.

"We are advocates for Navy Veterans and people with mesothelioma and our top priority is that people like this receive the best possible compensation results. Most people with mesothelioma we have been honored to assist in the last 15 years had not one-but multiple exposures to asbestos in the navy or at work. Usually when we ask them-how were-you exposed to asbestos-they offer one or two time frames. After we ask about these exposures the person recalls more exposure. As attorney Erik Karst of Karst von Oiste is always happy to discuss anytime at 800-714-0303 it takes a little time to make sure his client recalls as much as possible about their asbestos exposure-because their compensation depends on this." www.karstvonoiste.com/
