PSC Sets Intervention Deadline in Evergy Missouri West Renewable Energy Standard Filing - pr-27-25

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo.--- The Missouri Public Service Commission (PSC) has set an October 22, 2026, intervention deadline in a case filed by Evergy Missouri West, Inc. d/b/a Evergy Missouri West to modify rates under its Renewable Energy Standard Rate Adjustment Mechanism (RESRAM).
Evergy Missouri West filed a tariff revision on September 30, 2026, to recover costs associated with the Renewable Energy Standard for the twelve-month period of December 2024 through November 2025. The proposed tariff sheet has an effective date of December 1, 2026 . According to Evergy, the proposed adjustment would result in a decrease of $0.11 per month for customers using 1,000 kWh per month.
The PSC will consider the filing in Case No. ET-2027-0102 .
Applications to intervene in this case must be filed with the Secretary of the Missouri Public Service Commission, P.O. Box 360, Jefferson City, Missouri 65102, or by using the Commission's Electronic Filing and Information System (EFIS) at www.psc.mo.gov . An application to intervene in a case, if granted by the Commission, will make the applicant a formal party to the case to participate in testimony, filings, hearings, and other portions of the case, as set by the Commission.
While there is a deadline of October 22, 2026, to request intervention in the case, individual citizens wishing to comment on this case can do so at any time throughout the course of the case.
